The Gathering, a FREE celebration of Native American Heritage Month, is November 15th and 16th across Cannon Beach. It’s a weekend of art, film, crucial conversations, and more, led by indigenous voices.
All events are free, with donations encouraged.
On Saturday, November 15th:
-1pm is Family Storytelling with Karen Kitchen at the Cannon Beach Library.
-7pm is the Film Premiere: “Kanenon:we – Original Seeds” followed by Q&A with Director Katsitsionni Fox at The Coaster Theatre Playhouse.
On Sunday, November 16th:
-11am is a presentation with Brad Mix, “Reclaiming the Mixed Blood Story” at the Cannon Beach History Center & Museum.
-1pm, it’s a Stew and Bread Fellowship Lunch at Tolovana Hall.
